Hello. I'm Matt, your dedicated city councillor representing Beeston and Holbeck*.
I live locally in Holbeck, and I represent ~30,000 residents on Leeds City Council. I work with residents, community groups, local partnerships, and more to make a positive difference to our south Leeds communities. I do this by listening to and advocating for your local priorities, supporting community initiatives, and helping shape decisions that your impact daily life. I'm passionate about building stronger, connected, healthier, and thriving communities - by tackling waste, litter and fly tipping in our streets and parks, fighting for better measures against anti-social behaviour, pushing for us as residents to be at the heart of decision making, and rolling up my sleeves up to improve our area through practical action. Outside of my work as your local councillor, I'm interested in technology (my background is in software development), reading, cycling, and drinking lots(!) of coffee. Get in touch** if I can support you, or if you want to work together. *the Leeds City Council ward made up of Beeston, Cottingley, Elland Road, Holbeck, and Holbeck Urban Village. **it's best to either message me on 07512 212580 or drop me an email: [email protected] |
